This full moon and eclipse in Taurus is charged with intense energies. You may have felt a multitude of heavy emotions coming up this past week as our spiritual and energetic bodies were preparing to release all that no longer serves us in this time and space.
Just as you were feeling your way through stored up emotions, expressions of gratitude became easier to acknowledge as well. If you have felt misaligned or off balance,it is due to your need for change. It is time for you to let go of the old versions of yourself; they are crumbling. These older versions of you represent a time before you better understood what you were meant to do here. The past is meant to teach us, not stifle us. With each new lesson you move closer to your natural flow. Once you are steady in the flow, you are capable of creating from the heart space, where the soul steers from. Your soul is continuously nudging you on your shoulder, especially in those times you feel overwhelmed and out of your body.
Taurus asks us to simplify and focus on our basic needs and intimate relationships. If you feel called to, list out which areas your life can be simplified for the sake of your livelihood and enjoyment. Meditating on your needs and wants helps you dive deeper into personal fulfillment and nourishment. Taurus centers attention on material possessions, safety, security, and comfort. Taurus is also a fixed sign, bringing in an energy to remain headstrong and focused, regardless of outside forces. This full moon and eclipse feel chaotic and haphazard, but it is due to how engraved old teachings are. This long, partial lunar eclipse aligns with Algol,a star in our solar system whose name takes on the meanings of “Demon Star,” “Ghoul,” and “Demon’s Head.” Anything that has blocked you from flowing and tapping into real love will be raised up and released. The eclipse itself can trigger events to place you back on your righteous path, showing you which evil spirits may reside in your energy field. Your divine path will require attunement as the world and residents change frequency, too.
In order to feel aligned with one's path, the heart space must be felt. Instead of following the mind-brain on what to do, you can begin following the heart-brain on HOW to carry yourself. Important relationships are urged to cultivate genuine community and friendship rather than achievement or titles during this time. Wherever communication is lacking or becomes difficult, you will either break away from or form new ways of handling these intense situations. Let your highest self re-parent yourself as you grow in new ways. Repeated feelings of shame accompanied by corrections can introduce changes in behavior. However, this negative emotion can easily become stored and blocked away into pockets of the body, leading to bigger problems down the line. You are here to realign. The world has currently been incited with many emotions, causing a playground of reactions. You are finally finding time, space, and energy to process and respond rather than react. A strong sense of purpose is necessary for evolution.
Grounding exercises are vital. The 5 senses are an excellent start for finding your center within:
Sight - The ability to see the world around you to make sense of your present reality in the material world.
Hearing - The ability to process and match frequencies based on audio.
Smell - The ability to connect with surroundings by picking up on nearby scents.
Taste - The ability to distinguish differences based on experiences of flavor.
Touch - The ability to feel through contact.

The white candle will be used to purify, cleanse, attract, and balance. Lavender attracts love in all forms (self, familial, romantic). Lavender is also largely known for its calming and relaxing properties.
Freeform writing is a journaling tool used to get thoughts out without any pressure. It is healthy to let out emotions without worry about how they are coming across. Freeform writing is simply telling yourself to just write… without thinking. This may require meditation before journaling in order to get your body into a relaxed state. It should not matter how anything comes across when freeform writing. This writing is not meant to be understood by the outside. It is for your inner self to be heard and acknowledged, not suppressed. This form of journaling can include words, drawings or scribbles, as long as it is done in black ink. Fill up your page until there is no space left to express yourself. Honor yourself and take as much time as you need for this, while keeping in mind to only write down initial thoughts and feelings rather than strings of thought. Do not allow your mind to wander without putting your thoughts down on paper while performing this ritual.
Once you’ve filled up your page, take a few moments to review it. After reviewing it, light your candle and repeat the words, “You are seen. You are felt. I allow you to be put to rest. I choose to awaken.”
Place the candle and your filled sheet of paper on your altar or somewhere safe, and place dried lavender on top of your list.
